Langtang Ganjala Pass Trekking is mostly done famous trekking destination in comparasion to other trekking route of Langtang Region. Crossing ganjala pass is the main dream project of this trekking. Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and shift-in to Hotel

After landing your flight at TIA, representative of Himalaya Nepal Trek Pvt. Ltd. will warmly welcome you to Nepal. Then we will shift you toward your Hotel. In the evening our guide will meet you for the discussion of Langtang Ganjala pass trekking with delicious dinner.

Day 02: Sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley

We will spend our second day by sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley. Pashupatinath, regarded as the holiest temple of Lord Shiva, Bauddhanath known as Little Tibet and Swayambhunath known as Monkey Temple will be our main sightseeing destination. Then we will enter Basantpur Durbar Square. After visiting Kathmandu valley we will return back to hotel and make preparation for tomorrow.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubeshi (1462m) – 8 Hours

From today our journey starts. Early morning we will drive to Syabrubesi after having our breakfast. It takes us about 7 to 8 hours. In our journey toward Syabrubesi we will be enjoyed with spectacular scenery of roadside houses and forest. After reaching Syabrubesi we will spend our leisure time in visiting around chilime hydro project.

Day 04: Trek from Syabrubeshi to Lama Hotel (2500m) – 5 Hours

Early morning after having breakfast we will start our journey toward Lama Hotel. Our way will start after crossing Suspension bridge of Bhote Koshi River. Forest of Pine and juniper with many more species of trees will be so much impressive in our way. But our path goes stepper and stepper until we reach Lama Hotel.

Day 05: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3307) – 5 Hours

After having our breakfast we will continue our journey towards the Langtang village. In the way we will be so much impressed with the first glimpse of Langtang Mountain. Cultivated areas of buckwheat, potatoes, wheat, barley, can be seen in our way. In this way we will be at langtang valley to spend our night.

Day 06: Trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3798m) – 4 Hours

Our today’s trek leads us to Kyangjin Gompa (small villages and yak pasture land to Kyangjin). We can see Government operated cheese factory in Kyanjin Gompa. We will be at Kyanjin a bit earlier so we will spend our leisure by exploring around the Kyangjin Gompa. Then we will return back to our place to rest.

Day 07: Kyanjin Gompa to Ngegang (4000m) – 5 Hours

From Kyangjin Gompa, we will continue our journey toward Ngegang. From Ngegang we will view the best scene of mountain all around us. The snow capped mountains in our walking trek can be enjoyed. We will view the splendid view of mountains. The night will cool be at Ngegang.

Day 08: Ngegang to Keldang (4300m) via Ganja La (5200m) – 6 Hours

Todays trek is going to be comparatively more difficult and long trek because we need to cross Ganja La Pass. This pass is fully covered with snowy ice in maximum months. Then we will walk to the way to Keldang. After reaching Keldang we will rest for some time and visit the places around Keldang.

Day 09: Keldang to Dukpu (4080m) – 7 Hours

After having delicious breakfast we will continue our journey toward Dukpu. We need to walk along the ridge and grassland. Some amazing views of Himalayas can be observed in our way to Dukpu. Our night will be interesting at the forest near Dukpu where we will set up camp and rest.

Day 10: Dhokpu to Tarkegyang (2560m) – 7 Hours

Our trail goes slightly downward before climbing Tarkegyang. Spectacular views of Annapurna and the Everest regions can be enjoyed from the height. Forests of pine and rhododendron with tiny settlement will be our main path. The oldest Buddhist Monasteries and Sherpa villages can be visited in Tarkegyang.

Day 11: Tarkegyang to Sermathang (2621m) – 6 Hours

We will continue our journey toward Sermathang. Our trail goes through flat land. Beautiful forests and small streams need to be passed in our way. We will visit beautiful village after reaching Sermathang. Several ancient monasteries and beautiful views of Jungal Himal Range can be observed.

 Day 12: Sermathang to Melamchi Pul Bazaar (846m) – 5 Hours

From Sermathang we will gradually descend until we reach to Melamchi Pul Bazaar. Meadows and cultivated fields will be our main walking trial. After crossing several old villages with quite pleasant views of great mountains we will be at Melamchi Pul Bazzar where we will spend our memorable night.

Day 13: Melamchi Pul Bazaar to Kathmandu – 4 Hours

Early morning after having breakfast we will drive back to Kathmandu. Bumpy gravel road will be our track from Melamchi Pul Bazaar to Lamidanda. Medaled road will be our road after Lamidanda. After reaching Kathmandu we will be shifted in hotel. Then we will spend our leisure time in visiting thamel area.

Day 14: Farewell

After spending last night at Nepal, we will pack our luggage to march ourselves towards TIA. We have to reach at airport 3 hours before the flight. Before that we will attend a small farewell program organized by Himalaya Nepal Trek Pvt. Ltd.

If the guest likes the condition then agreement is done. All the rules and regulation with choice of trekking detail is given in agreement paper. After the agreement is done then the both guest and organizer cannot go against Term and Condition of agreement paper. Both of them should have mutual understanding before doing the agreement. Agreement should be done for the not causing the problem. So before doing agreement, please kindly read the following terms and condition very carefully.

You should book by choosing the trekking trip with Himalaya Nepal Trek Pvt. Ltd. (government Registered Company). It is located in thamel. You can choose your “Trip” through our website. Trekking, Climbing, Mountaineering, Walking tours and Sightseeing, Rafting and Jungle Safari are the main facility which we provide. And for your payment, you should firstly deposit 20% amount in our companies account. Remaining can be paid after arriving in Nepal.
