Annapurna Region contains many trekking destinations. Among the entire trekking destinations Nar Phu Valley Trekking is the most fantastic off-the-beaten-track trekking. Nar and Phu very less visited valley is the main attraction of this trekking. In 1950 A D Till man was the first person to trek Nar phu valley. Then in 2003 A D this trekking route was established for trekking. Since then this trekking route is running till now. This trekking route is made with the combination of Annapurna circuit track. Through this track we will spectacular views of cool surrounding, remote villages of unique cultures and unspoiled beautiful forests are offered. Snow capped sky touching mountains, ancient villages at high altitude with settlements of different ethnic group in unity is the main attraction of this trek. Rough route that cuts the side of cliff are the main attraction of our trek.

We will start our Nar Phu Valley trekking from Besisahar. In need to pass through several villages. Most of the people in this region are Buddhist and follow Tibetan culture. Due to which many gompas and monasteries of Tibetan culture can be found in this trekking spot. Most of the people in this region are involved in Yak and sheep herding. People in this region have hospitality, friendly and unity behavior which will be so much impressive. This will make us to visit in this place again. Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and shift-in to Hotel

After landing your flight at TIA, representative of Himalaya Nepal Trek Pvt. Ltd. will warmly welcome you to Nepal. Then we will shift you toward your Hotel. In the evening our guide will meet you for the discussion of Nar Phu Valley trekking with delicious dinner.

Day 02: Sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley

We will spend our second day by sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley. Pashupatinath, regarded as the holiest temple of Lord Shiva, Bauddhanath known as Little Tibet and Swayambhunath known as Monkey Temple will be our main sightseeing destination. Then we will enter Basantpur Durbar Square. After visiting Kathmandu valley we will return back to hotel and make preparation for tomorrow.

Day 03: Kathmandu Besishahar (830m) – 7 Hours

Early morning we will drive to Besisahar after having our breakfast. It takes us about 7 to 8 hours. In our journey toward pokhara we will be enjoyed with spectacular scenery of roadside houses and forest. After reaching Besisahar we will spend our leisure time in visiting some spectacular places around the valley.

Day 04: Besishahar to Bahundanda (1310m) – 5 Hours

After aving berak fast we will start our trekking toward Bahundanda. We can take a short drive to Bhulbhule. We will follow the track of Marshyangdi River. Many panoramic views can be seen during our walk. in this way we will be at Bahundanda to stay our night.

Day 05: Bahundanda to Chamje (1400m) – 5 Hours

Today we will continue our journey toward Chamje. Our trial goes steeply to Syange (witness of a large waterfall). To continue our journey we need to cross suspension bridge over Marsyangdi River. To reach Chamje we need to walk through Jagat.

Day 06: Chamje to Dharapani (1920m) – 5 Hours

We will start our walk with a rocky trail. We need to walk steadily uphill to Tal through the path of We will follow Marsyangdi River. From Tal we continue up and down to Dharapani (1890m) which is surrounded by apple Orchads and maize fields.

Day 07: Dharapani to Koto (2600m) – 6 Hours

After having breakfast at Bagarchhap we will continue our journey toward Koto. Our maximum trail goes to mule track through the dense forest of pine and oak. We will have opportunity of exploring the rich culture of Koto where we will spend our night.

Day 08: Koto to Dharmasala (3230m) – 7 Hours

Our journey will leads us to Dharmasala. We need to walk a bit long and face some difficulty in our walk. But in our journey we will be surrounded by natural beauty all around us. Small caves and pilgrims will be so much impressive in our way. In this way we will be lastly in Dharmasala to spend our night.

Day 09: Dharmasala to Kayang (3740m) – 6 Hours

Early morning we will walk toward Kayang. In today’s journey we need to climb step up. We need to walk on the path of valley with a small and scenic river. Our track leads us to high pastures land and Meta Kharka (non-permanent winter settlement of Nar). Lastly we will be at Kayang for night at tented camp.

Day 10: Kayang to Phu Valley (4050m) – 6 Hours

From Kayang, we will walk steeply down toward Puh valley. We need to trek in bank of river at the beginning for a while. Some possible campsites should be passed in our way. We will be offered with natural beauty all around us. In this we will be at phu walley to spend our night at tented camp.

Day 11: Phu Valley to Junam (3550m) – 5 Hours

After having breakfast we will continue our journey toward Janum. We need to walk down through the end gate of Phu valley. Then we will retrace our steps back to the Junam Khola. By viewing the natural beauty we will be at Janam to spend our memorable night.

Day 12: Junam to Nar Village (4150m) – 5 Hours

Today is the important day of our trekking. It is known as classic Himalayan day. We will descend down Nar village through the old bridge spanning a deep and contoured narrow gorge. Again we will return back to Nar gates at the top of the hill to spend our cool night at campsite.

Day 13: Nar Village to Ngwal (3675m) cross Kang La Pass (5315m) – 6 Hours

Our journey will lead us to Ngwal. We need to cross Kang La pass not so much difficult pass but we need to walk a bit long if the pass is covered with snow. After crossing the Kang La pass we will be at Ngwal for night.

Day 14: Ngwal to Manang (3550m) – 7 Hours

After having breakfast we will climb towards land of Manang.  The panoramic view of Tilicho Lake can be seen in our trek. Beautiful Annapurna region can also be observed in our trek. We will pass through the beautiful village covered with many chortens and Mani walls. In this way we will be at manang for our night.

Day 15: Manang to Letdar (4250m) towards Thorong La Pass – 6 Hours

After having breakfast we will continue our journey toward Ledar. We can explore about the lifestyle of several villages as we need to pass them. Our track will be ascending through Tergi and Yak Kharka. In this we will reach at ledar to spend our night.

Day 16: Letdar to Thorong High Camp (4800m) – 5 Hours

Early morning after having breakfast we will walk to Thorong High Camp. We need to walk through mountain path which leads us to east bank of the Jarjung Khola. From we need to walk a bit and we will be at Thorong High Camp where the beautiful ranges of mountains can be seen.

Day 17: Thorong High Camp to Muktinath (3800m) cross Thorong La pass (5416m) – 8 Hours

Today our journey is going to be quite long but it is a bit easy compared to other day. Firstly we will follow steep way on a regular route. Then we walk to Muktinath, home to several monasteries with the temple of Muktinath. We can see 108 water sprouts and a gorgeous natural spring is the main attraction of it.

Day 18: Muktinath to Jomsom (2713m) – 5 Hours

From Muktinath we will move toward jomsom. Panoramic view of all around the surrounding with giant mountains can be seen in our way. Beautiful glimpse of great ranges of giant mountains will be joyful. We will be moving until we will reach to the Jomsom where we will stay our night.

Day 19: Jomsom to Pokhara

We will catch the early morning flight over to Pokhara. From the flight magnificent view of mountain ranges with snow cap can be seen. After reaching Pokhara we will view and visit the local market at lake side in our leisure time. Then we will return back to hotel to stay our memorable night.

Day 20: Pokhara to Kathmandu

Waking early morning we will again view the rising sun piercing the white snows. After having breakfast we will return back to Kathmandu. It will take us about 7 to 8 hours. After reaching Kathmandu we will be shifted toward hotel. Then we will spend our leisure time in visiting Thamel area.           

Day 21: Farewell

After spending last night at Nepal, we will pack our luggage to march ourselves towards TIA. We have to reach at airport 3 hours before the flight. Before that we will attend a small farewell program organized by Himalaya Nepal Trek Pvt. Ltd.

If the guest likes the condition then agreement is done. All the rules and regulation with choice of trekking detail is given in agreement paper. After the agreement is done then the both guest and organizer cannot go against Term and Condition of agreement paper. Both of them should have mutual understanding before doing the agreement. Agreement should be done for the not causing the problem. So before doing agreement, please kindly read the following terms and condition very carefully.

You should book by choosing the trekking trip with Himalaya Nepal Trek Pvt. Ltd. (government Registered Company). It is located in thamel. You can choose your “Trip” through our website. Trekking, Climbing, Mountaineering, Walking tours and Sightseeing, Rafting and Jungle Safari are the main facility which we provide. And for your payment, you should firstly deposit 20% amount in our companies account. Remaining can be paid after arriving in Nepal.
